The humidity levels of Makkah city are generally moderate but increase during the warmer months because of the city’s valley location and large crowds during peak seasons.

Rainfall in the city is irregular and limited, usually occurring between December and January with light showers. Despite the extreme hot weather conditions, Makkah remains a year-round destination for pilgrims and travellers.

November to February is considered to be the best time to visit Makkah, due to relatively cooler temperatures.
